Hi friends today i will show you How to Monitor a Background job in SAP BASIS
Actually the monitoring background job is important because once you schedule the job it might be cancelled due to some reasons so that's why we need to monitor the background jobs by using transaction code is SM37 T-Code.
1) First of all just execute SM37 T-code to check and monitor all background job
2) If you don't know the which job is cancelled then you have to select cancel book mark and then whatever you want to see the jobs is running state and release state and active state all are you can see
3) But at the time of given name is Job name and status you have put * symbol if know the job name then you can give the name to get results ok.
4) Then clink on job log button to the purpose of cancelled job details no only that any details you may get if you click that one.
5) like that you can monitor all background jobs.
